Modify to Byzantine roster....help!

hello all
I would like to make a change of the Byzantine army, I want that from 1204 or 1261 onwards, there is something similar of paleologian army... I do not want to add other units also because I do not know how to add other units (though I do not want add anything) .. What units should I remove from recruiting? Which mercenary should I add? (i know that paleologian army had many mercenaries)
after answering the first question I have to make another question. how can I make effective the recruitment of several units from a given year, or to end the recruitment in a given year?

Go to the EDB and look at the "event counter" part in each unit's line in the barracks-line of buildings. That's what you need to tinker with. I don't know what the Paleologian army is like, but CBUR is historically accurate for the time period, as far as I know. RR/RC allows you to recruit units only during historically accurate time periods as well, but if you find something that's not right, tell PB in the "suggestions" thread.

Varangians become available in 1214, and then you'll also get Skythikon, Latinikon, and Dismounted German Knights. These are all mercenaries.
