Steam problem

I dont know where to post this thread so i put it on the game i am most active in so.

I have a problem about steam. I havent updated it in a while and i did yester day and it needed a activation code for the new steam guard thing. I didnt have the email and i looked every where and there wasent a soulution and it was very frustrating. I am wondering if any body has had this problem and if htey have wat is the soulution. please help!!

Look in the spam box for your email? The spam filter may have dumped it in there.

Srry for the late respondse. I cheaked for it and i dont see it. And i posted a message on the steam help center and they gae me a bunch of instructons and i just did they but none of them have worked. is there any way i can make a new account and just type in my CD key and then it would work or do i have to do this email thing?

YES i finally found what i was doing wrong. When i bought empire in the week it came out in 2008 i was 11 and ddint have an email and i used my moms old email so i found it. Thank you irishron for ur help and u can close the thread. THANK YOU
