    Icon5 Unique location siege/battle - crash

    Hi to everybody and to everyone...

    I am seeking some solution to this little complication.. I´ve tried to find some fix or a "magic trick" for v2,1 (seems fantastic) but nothing so far for me..

    I wanted to confirm (and see) those unique middle earth locations.. I started siege on Helms deep and after building some ladders I´ve called the attack.. Unfortunately the game crashes, every time - the same is Edoras, minas tirith and the capital of Dale..
    In my humble opinion - the game just cant calculate so complex and surely difficult maps.. And I am asking now, what chance do I have -using win XP, dual core and a moderate graphics card.. to pass this situation..
    no sub mods used, just v2,0 and 2,1 patch
    no changes done on any file
    graphics changed several times - downwards.. sadly
    nothing....


    any ideas... (?) help?

    bro, i don't understand. what you mean?

    i got. you try to make some update for third age to add magic trick in the game>> Heroes? Units soldiers?

    or there a migic trick in third age and you try to found its

    sorry, my english is... poor..

    unique location - i mean the Helms Deep f.e., on the battle map, it´s not just a classic M2TW city, but remade to be more likely the movies locations or those described in books - meaning - that the H.Deep has his single wall through the valley and that fortress above..
    Or Dale, "the city on water"...

    my problem is even worse (beside my english).. when I attack from the world map and i get to the loading screen for battle, the game shuts down.. NO battle! ...

    And, I´ve just downloaded, installed the mod, no other add-on, nothing more, just wanted to play..

    OR, i just dont know, that those "unique locations" are not...

    I shall reinstall it in the first place....

    I wasn't referring to the Minas Tirith glitch, but to this post. (edited below for ease of reading)

    Or maybe he thinks the custom settlements have already been implemented, as he also refers to the world map. (again edited for clarity)

    There are no unique locations on the battlemap

    hi guys
    so i want to make me sure..

    I was talking about campaign - there are cities like minas etc or Edoras looking like the places from the movies - on the "world map"

    But is it ment to be in the battle map (during campaign f.e. for Isengard) - all those places are still represented by settlements from M2TW classic - is it?


    So, still i dont understand CTD in siege battles (in campaign), but only when attacking/defending the "unique location", when i was taking rebel settlements, i got it clear and nice.. no problems.. but i can take Edoras only with autoresolve - unfortunately..

    Thats why i thought it might be associated with the "unique location" battle map redesignment.. IF only i was sure,that they are OR are not in the game

    The custom settlements have not been released yet, and will be released with version 3.0. (nobody knows when the release will be) So the standard M2TW settlements is correct. I'm not sure what could be causing the CTDs though.
