    Default problem installing patch

    i recently got a new comp and im trying to patch a copy of rome to 1.2 but im having trouble installing it. do i need a version of winzip or am i doing somthing really stupid. ive got the patch downloaded onto my desktop and i extract the files. do i extract to the rome folder or somting else? i did'nt have a problem with this with my old comp, any help will be thankfull

    Did you download the exe patch or the zip patch? If you download the exe patch you just click on the icon and it should launch the install thingy. If you download the zip patch, then you have to unzip it into your rome total war folder.
