History

The Kingdom of Lithunia is a young and emergent power that has been raised to its current status as indpendent state only recently following the diminishing power of the Tuetonic Order power. This power vaccum created a spawning pool of discontent in the regions the Order had conquered in its bloody wars of conquest, in a so called "Holy War". The people of these regions had suffered long enough under the cruel and iron grip of the knights and revolted causeing a war that lead to the creation of Lithuania with the young rebel lead Ivan I as its king. King Ivan has secured the loyalty of all his various subjects from the Lithuanians themselves to include, Estonians and Latvians as well as Prussians, He has done so by forging a new national indentity "Baltic". This new view thus lead to the disrigard of the people's former Pagan gods in favor of Christianity, which despite being the religion of their former oppersors has been impraised by most of the Baltic peoples.
