Regarding large address aware patch

After 5 months, several mails, ticket support, forum posts, and PMs, I've finally managed to get an answer.

It's a bit of a tricky one, as our legal department at SEGA would have to look into it if you wanted to make it official. That would take a long time, in my experience.

However, unofficially, I can say that we'd accept that you were using the program with no intention of causing harm or leeching sales. Obviously you'd do so at your own risk and without any official endorsement from us, but without saying it in an official capacity, I think it's highly unlikely we'd press for legal action.

I have asked him whether this would allow us to post the information somewhere on the forum; but on the mean time, we can at least PM those with RAM issue this solution.

Woohoo - about time too, I understand on a corporate point-of-view why they are reluctant but as this information has already been PM'ed "unofficially" then at least we can be clear now. I know I use it and I have let others know about it. So long as we say "at your own risk but you can try this..."

I think the PM should be run by the 'powers that be' on the forum, so we don't get stabbed for posting the info again. I already got a warning about it once.
If they're OK with it, I'd say post a tutorial or something of how to do it and with what.
