character traits console - how to ID characters with more than one name

What syntax do you use to ID a character with more than one name when using console commands i.e.

give_ trait [Memnon of Athens] Brave1

Works fine of they have a single name i.e. [Petrokles] but if he was [Petrokles Demetrikos] I cant figure out how to ID him with the console commands. Have looked for an answer to this, and cant find one. Any help would be appreciated.

I think for names with spaces, you just add an underscore where the space would be. (Memmon_of_Athens) for example.

That was the first thing I tried after spaces, no luck.

What about people without an 'of' in thier name tho? I still cant get them to work.
