Without coming off as sounding rude, why is the map so small in regards to the East? Won't having it like this mean that the Sassanids will be pretty weak?

I like Reno's suggestion. Using Majorianius' reign as a start is awesome. And for a second campaign like you said Rio, at the Death of Atilla will make playing even the huns challenging, it is super cool. You have to consider rebellion elements in both cases however, Ricimer would never sit still or accept Majorianus getting popular and successful over him. And the Gepids were the first to rebel from the hun empire not long after Atilla's death. I wonder what method is best to reflect these challenges for the WRE player later and the Hun player earlier will be.

Just a few inconsitencies;
-Langobards weren't signifigant until towards the end date of your campaign; replacing them with the thuringii (as suggested earlier) would make things interesting between the franks, alemanni, and thuringii
-Visigoths should only hold pieces of central Tarraconensis below Aquitaine
-Romans had nominal control over eastern spain under Majoran, in preparation for the attack accross the Gibraltar
-Aegidius re-joined the Empire under Majoran. There was a thin strip of land connecting Arles/Narbonne (then roman) to Aedigius
-Aegidius' lands are too extensive - give WRE Narbo, and give the visigoths the 2 provinces above narbonne and toulose.
-Burgundians were only just beggining to act out in 457, reduce their control by 1 province is what i would reccomend. Gives room for expansion too.
-Corsica and Sardinia were Roman (as per Ricimer repulsing the vandal assault in 458)
-More inconsistencies
-Mauretania and Tripolitania were still under Roman control until after 455 (As per the Nov. Valentinian)
-All of Sicily was Roman (As per the repulsed assault on Palermo of 440)
-All of spain Minus Tarraconensis and Valentia should be Suebic (As per the suebic conquests up until 446)
-Amorica should be Roman (As per Aetius' Reconquest with the alans in 435)
-Burgundians should be reduced to 1 province, supplement the others under roman control (as per the attacks of 436/437)
-Tournai should be Roman (As per the repulsed assault outside Vicus Helena by Aetius and Majoran in 448)
-Trier should be Roman (As per another repulsed frankish assault by Aetius)
-Add the saxons (As per the Groan of the Brittones)
-Taurica should be ERE
-As there are no records of vandal raids on corsica and sardinia until 458, they should be Roman.
I need a new map for IBUR, I'm stuck with Vanilla, could you help me contact Icetorque to ask about permission to use his map?
All in all, starting with Majoran is an excellent Idea.

^ yeah, that
Nice work Rio.
Anything you can add to the map- would, can or have time for Mathias, team would certainly appreciate
-Majorian would be that man
Not sure yet about the Frisians and Thuringians. They would be certainly next on top of the list

What will you do with Aegidius in Gaul, and Nepotianus in Illyria? Will they be part of the Western Roman Empire under Majoran, or independent factions allied with him?
Is this map workable now?
When are you planning on releasing Odaocer and beginning FD?
Aegidius didnt split until after Majoran was killed.
Nepos became Emperor in 475 I believe.
A rebel roman faction could work but separate factions for these two factions is a waste of space.

The IB2 FD map is workable and I have done further work to it. Its almost as advanced as the IB2 Odoacer mod
Release date is always a non answerer on the public forums
We can discuss it in the dev room but mods will progress rapidly from this point on for much of the foundation has been already set up in the prior released mods. Currently the team is focused on the Odoacer mod but I have been jumping about setting things about such as the IBFD Mod. The Domaine of Soissons will be under Majorian in the 457 campaign. In the 476AD campaign I'm not sure yet
