Quite. It's more a case of alpha testing.
We have done about 95% of each of the following:
    the tech tree
all the start date family trees and characters
    all the map done
all the 500 new units assigned to the trees
all the hundreds of brand new titles added
working additions of scripts and features
1.7GBs (over 500 tracks) of new music
    1.7 GBs of cinematics

By hundreds, that's well over 400 titles alone, and not including the over 1200 historical ancillaries.

The Magyar Team will publish the preview of Hungary as soon as Res will have enough time to finish it.
If the map is finished, can we see Kingdom of Hungary?

Well that's new news to me, as we are still correcting map mistakes, and we really don't like mistakes so somebody took it down I guess .
We've really got a lot of work on our hands, that's why we haven't delivered a preview.

In the meantime, let me give you guys something in exchange for your patience

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

This preview was brought to you by the Magyar department of DotS using the works of Hajnal Ödön

And for those of you who are excited about Magyar uruszág, or the Kingdom of Hungary, feel free to wear these Hungarian signatures!

    Too much nice!

Looking very good. I am no historian but I am a bit curious about the design of the sword-mans shield. To me it looks like the french lily on the right side or was that also used by the Magyar?

    Cheers!

Actually the ruling Árpád dynasty that had ruled Hungary since the establishment of the Hungarian Kingdom died out in 1301 [on the male side].

Following a period of interregnum, a civil war erupted. During the chaos one of the factions, headed by Charles Robert (of the Angevin dynasty) managed to unite the county, and thus began the rule of the Angevin dynasty in Hungary.

Their coat of arms was the following:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Here is a contemporary seal showing the very same crest:

And here is a wikipedia article about him:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_I_of_Hungary

He is regarded as one of the greatest Hungarian Kings. He initiated an urbanization reform that led to extreme prosperity within the Kingdom:
"The gold production of mines reached the remarkable figure of 3,000 pounds (1,400 kg) of gold annually – one third of the total production of the world as then known, and five times as much as that of any other European state."

He was a really interesting figure and a great statesmen.

Regarding the models themselves, Dome from Magyar mod collaborates with our department, he designs the units. His work is absolutely historically accurate from flags to such small trivia such as pockets and satchels on the soldiers.

Everything is based on actual historical research and arheological evidence, therefore our flags, shields and other items that have some sort of artwork on them are taken directly from history itself.

Gameplaywise we shall have a script that changes the Hungarian state coat of arms as it developed historically. Therefore every fifty years or so when some sort of drastic change happened,
the game will automatically change the coat of arms so when this fella shall be recruitable, the Hungarian faction's coat of arms & the flags used by the soldiers will change as well.
