Why is the campaign map completely open for view in RTR VII? I can see armies and cities everywhere from end to end? Is this the way it is supposed to be? Used to be I could only see what my units, towns and watchtowers could view, right up to FOE.

You can switch on the "fog of war" by pressing the `to open the console window and typing toggle_fow and pressing enter. Press `once more to close the console window.

i started playing with the fog of war toggled off and enjoying the savings on spy towers
