Hi
Has anyone seen this film, i rate it in my all time top 3. It scores high in all areas, soundtrack is so fitting, strange but good camera movements and very true to life drama. Anyone else got the same opinion.

It is a pretty good movie. A tad disturbing at times but at times it can be ammusing. Like the refrigerator.
This is one of those cult films that I never got but was instead a little disturbed by it. A very dark sad film.

YES! It is one of my top 5 as well! Loved the movie, everything about the movie was pure art. The story, the characters, the whole gritty yet beautifull setting. To anyone who hasn't seen this movbie check it out. ou will not forget it and you might look at life in a slightly different way afterwards lol.
Hi
I dont know of any other film that uses the same style, its not the sad story that does it its the fact that its true, added artistic value like evrytime they take drugs or sell them, and a feeling that you have been somewhere, if you watch a film and throughout the whole film you are 100% concious of the fact that your sitting on your couch or your bed or wherever your telly is then you have wasted you time, watch shawshank redemption and you should get what i mean.

I like to see it as a part of "the drug" trilogy: first up is "Trainspotting", for the sheer madness that drugs can cause, then "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and then "Requiem for a Dream", so that I remind myself never to become involved with hard drugs...
And the theme song as played by Moloko is truly great...
what the man said. Also you could see similar aesthetics in Cronenberg's "dead ringers" and Wong Kar Wai's "Happy Together".Originally Posted by MoROmeTe
