Pope plays double standards - want me to Cease Hostilities but the other guy can attack
So there you have it...Our holy Pope wants the Aragon Empire to stop shedding the blood of fellow Catholics (Mission), unless it's my own blood that's shedding of course! Is it possible to correct this? Also, when I was besieging a rival faction's fortress, the aforementioned Mission also doesn't stop me from continuing the siege.

Sometimes the mission only states you will lose favour if you disobey it (if your favour is quite high with the pope, 5 or more crosses I believe), whereas if your favour is below 5 crosses you will get excommunicated if you attack.
The mission is a cease hostilities; if you are exercising self-defence it counts against your enemy and not yourself.
I don't know the full technicalities though; I.e. if you can remain camped on their land, and if defending on their land counts as none aggressive.

I think the mission only covers future aggressions. Just stay on your land, and if they come you can attack them, no penalty involved. I'm pretty sure though, if youre on they're lands, and you're attacked, it'll count as aggression on your part.
