History The Austrian Empire was founded in the late 900's by Emperor Fredrich who had pruchased the Dutchy from its previous owners. Once on the throne Fredrich wasted little time in setting up his own rule. He conolated his power by only appointing his family to positions of power and even then only the ones he felt he could trust. One of the first things Emperor Frederich did was officaly proclaim Catholicism as the offical religion. By doing so had hoped to settle the tensions in his own family
These tensions were between him and his eldest son Ferdinand I who had seen the way the poor suffered and became quite disgusted with the way his father let this happen while hording other goods for the family. These tension at one point reached such a new low that for what some say was a period of great worry, there was no contact between father and son, fear of civil war lead to panic in the nation with many of the peasants and smarter family allying with Fredinand. This would lead to what the Austrians now call the Liberation.
The Liberation was the murder of Emperor Frerdrich and his few remaining alllies, it is unkown who did this dead, nor do the Austrian particularly care. However many do think it was Fredinand. With Ferdinand now on the the empire looks forward to great success as the standard of living has already started to improve
