Nice. Apart from not having shieldwall, what are the other differences?
The most noticeable to me is better campaign AI behaviour, as it tends to concentrate forces and not waste them in small groups of 3-4 units... lack of shieldwall, I can live with, considering the AI doesn't use it anyways, and I've already edited it out of my own VI2/DoB install to level the playing field...
i tried to integrate rs2 environment into vi2. it work on the campaign map but not at the battlefields. i think i did something wrong. any advises?
i will be releasing a vi2 rs2 enviroments submod very soon
enviroments patch released , link in first post
looking forward to try it
You're a busy man, Granto––and a pillar of this community. And your work has inspired me to play these fantastic mods for RTW again!
lets see some rs2 viking pics { i dont have time to play at the moment} cheers
Great! Thank you Granto.
Is this DoB incompactible or it is just my install?
should work dem nic, what problems do you have ?
Firstly, I had ctd every time when I tried to play custom battle, then I reinstall the game in the way I first instaled DoB and than RSII enviroment over it and it was running fine except this error message after finishing the game. With vanila VI2 it is offcourse working without any problem.
yes some one else pm'd me a while back about that and said they could not get to that settlement in the game , to think what would cause it,............ check that there isnt a descr_strat txt in my patch , do a side instal of dob to somewhere on your computer and take the world folder from it and put it in your new game instal see if that sorts it, it may well be that my patch has the original vi2 world folder
Thanks for advice GRANTO. I believe that this is the problem:
it may well be that my patch has the original vi2 world folder
Unfortunately, it doesnt help.
