As a civitate one belongs to the upstanding equestrian (I guess so as the plebs are beneath them) class of Roman society and is as such expected to behave in a proud, reasonable and honorable fashion as it is the tradition of the Roman Republic and the glorious Triumvirate. Being faithful to the forum gods as well as the great pantheon of the greater divine netiquette is the hallmark of a true Roman.
This code of behaviour is specified in 14 commandments, err... laws, which are for ease and shortness summarized in the following list:
1) Honor the privilige of being part of the twcenter-community by behaving to the best of your abilities, namely,
don't attack someone personally, respect all fellow members, evenmoderators, accept moderator decisions and behave best to your own abilities.
2) Mind the structure of the forums and only post meaningful posts or threads in the according places as well as post only if you have something to say and it is actually about the topic specified.
3) Slaughter the English language only as much as you must as a non-native speaker to transfer the message that this language is a mere means of communication to you and that it is in truth beneath you.
4) Don't bring your political views to the forums if they are illegal in real world to begin with.
The civitates being the lowest rank of full Roman citizens can take part in the curia and the Prothalamos where he has a voice to propose new bills with three fellow civitates as well as vote on those proposed by others. As customary in Roman society however the honorary persons higher up the pecking order have a right to veto such popular votes. The ballots are free, secret and equal and if the civitates should find a way to make them unfree, public or unequal he should refrain from exploiting this weakness in the election system.Originally Posted by imb39
I noticed Manglaore posting in the 'Pit,' but he also posts in other areas of the CC and TW Community too. I was impressed with his ability to argue rationally and develop his ideas. A great Civ already in my book. All that is needed to be done is for him to receive the status he already achieving. Thank you.
