Yeah, I know this problem has been around for a bit and I usually fixed it by removing all saved games.
That really isn't an option anymore since I can seem to save/load after a couple of turns.
Any long term fix here?

Thats becose of RTW, nothing to do with RSII i think. Just close exe. and start from autosave.
