change city name

hello everyone
I want to change the name of Corinth and replace it with that of Mystras, and i want to do the same with Tortosa, (i want renaming it tripoli).which files I must edit to change the name of a city?

I think it'd be descr_strat and maybe some others, but I'm 100% sure you need to edit the city names in descr_strat.

If you like, you can just change city names right in the game.
When you own the city just go to the building screen and click on the city name and change it to whatever you like.

i tried as suggested in the link, but nothing :_(, I know that there is this method(renaming name in game, but I want to change the name permanently).

I don't know if you have, but ask it in the modding section, maybe someone there can help?

Go in this location: SS6.4\data\text

And open this file: imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt

Find the name of the city you wanna change in this text file and rename it by changing the entry outside the curly braces. for example:

{Constantinople}Constantinople
{Constantinople_Province}Constantinople Region
to
{Constantinople}Istanbul
{Constantinople_Province}Istanbul Region

Just click on the settlement and then click the name on the settlement page and you'll see the blinking line thing that tells you that you can type. Delete the current name and type in the one you want. This obviously is not permenant upon starting another new campaign but its permenant for your current campaign. No need to go through SS6.4's data folders.

I have another question, after the change of name, i want change also the noble title, from strategos of corint to strategos of mystras, how can i do??? i find in some files but i can not find the relative file.
