What is wrong with this damn thing? Graphics, campaign, issues abound...

After finally managing to get the launcher to work after four hours of trying to install the damn thing, it seems my efforts were in vain.

Upon choosing my faction and starting the game, a black screen pops up with some stuff in the top-right corner in neon green lettering saying something about the ENB Series Beta pertaining to GTA Vice City and some Russian website underneath it. Wtf? I assume the RS2 use ENB for their bloom or something but it's strange. That screen stays for around 15-20 seconds before I can hear menu music. However, the screen still remains black, but the neon green letters appear as a smudge on the upper-left corner. I can get past this by minimizing the game and letting it "load" back in.

NOW, when I click single-player, there are only Historical and Custom Battles available for play. Hmmm, I exit out and try to use the launcher that is provided by another member. No dice; the same 2 Battle buttons appear again. No big deal, it's getting patched right? Well, I would be able to cope if the Custom and Historical Battles actually worked. After clicking the button to start battle, the freaking thing out and says 'IB.exe' or whatever it is has stopped working.

What is going on with this thing?? Can anybody find a solution that works? I heard this game was supposed to be challenging, but I thought that meant the gameplay, not the installation process.
