Some original animations take so long like that↓
Even the animation for a slash attack of cavalryman take less time than the animation for a death of the infantry, the cavalryman must wait for the completion of the death animation before he can move on to the next target. This is a well-known core problem of Empire: Total War, but it is totally unrealistic!
Certainly nobody has time to certify each kill during the heat of battle. For a gameplay, this is absolutely not a smooth fight with such an unnecessary lag!
Nonetheless, the game still has some good animations which take much less time, like this one:

- Replaced 2 old animations with these two new:
- Added back the missing death animations for units with swords and shields, as well as units with axes, when being stabbed by bayonets
So the idea of this simple mod is to direct the game using only the shorter death animation for a single-attack kill, while the original dueling animation remain the same.
