Help: RTW Online

Er, what happend to the other forum made for these types of threads? Anyway, I'm having a problem. Several times I have tried to play with people online, and several times I couldn't play. We both had the exact same setup, RTW, 1.3, 1.5 and TE 4.0. I even deleted the map.RWM, by the advice of Remix, but that didn't help.

Any advice?

Well from the looks of that error message looks like somethings wrong with the built-in mod command in RTW... Do you have any command lines in the RTW short cut? Also have you tried to reinstall RTW?

I do actualy, the show_err. Is that the problem?

I guess its always worth a try.

This is the first time I ever saw this error, so I guess your best chance is to just reinstall RTW if that fails.

Anyone else have any idea? I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but does anyone else see a reason why it wouldn't work?

Multiple versions of RTW on the one computer, mixed up registry entries maybe? One modified file in the RTW directory (outside of preferences.txt).
I'm thinking the last one actually, have either you or he downloaded or changed anything in the files, such as a rebalance, it seems the most obvious but I may as well ask.

No, I only have one RTW installed, and I have changed nothing with it. Nothing, except changed the preferences (and the command line, I'll try fixing that). Apparently, Grimsta and nF Remix are also having the same problem. I mean, it might just be the mod, it probably doesn't work or something

Well to get it sorted it good, i play online a lot you can't have one modded bit have to be same, if you have Lusted's terra expgnandae 4.0 and no one else has it you can't play it online.
