Problems regarding 1.5 patch and gold edition.

Hi!
First time user, so I'll get right to the point.
I wanted to update my M2TW kingdoms gold edition installation to the 1.5 patch. Since I live in Denmark and bought the game here, I downloaded and patched with the european version. Since then I am still able to play the regular M2TW grand campaign, but unable to load any of the kingdoms mods, with the message being - "please insert disc 1 to start the game", eventhough I have loaded disc 1.

I've tried to reinstall and repatch a couple of times, but it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Am I using the wrong patch version or something?

what disc are you using?

you need the kingdoms disc in the drive to play the expansions.

Well when I have the clean installation of the M2TWK gold (non-patched), I have to use disc 1 to play the kingdom mods.
I've tried to patch to 1.5 and load using both discs, but result is the same.

So no luck there.

Thread moved from M2TW GD forums to M2TW Tech Help.
v1.5 patch is for only expansions, it has nothing to do with mods.
In the kingdoms setup, you can just uncheck all the campaigns and the 1.4 patch will install automatically. You will have to manually move kingdoms.exe from the CD through. (for example from CD:\teutonic\main)

If you are using Vista or Win 7, disable the UAC, then try it.

Hi. Thanks for the replies.
I figured it out by simply using the UK 1.5 patch for M2TWK gold.
Now it runs smoothly and I can install the mods I want to.
