I think that would be the best idea. Someone should upload a full working Westerosi folder so everyone with technical difficulties can sort them out easily by downloading the "correct" version. I am really for this. (Because, mainly, I have some issues myself)

Ok folks. Dorne is still involved, so no worries there. Please remember to get your emails and password to me. Remember that I shall be closing the voting in 3 hours time at noon gmt. Finally, I intend to take my turn sometime this afternoon, depends slightly on the traffic, but it'll be up by sorta 2 in the afternoon east coast time I expect.

Edit: oh, and to solve the technical issues if someone could upload a working Westeros folder, that would be seriously epic.

Please, we need some guidance on who is supposed to go when. Currently it is 17:20 (GMT+1) and I have time till 22:00. Make a list of factions in which order they are supposed to take their turns. And how exactly. Are they supposed to finish the turn and then save as someone else, or save as them and then another player ends their turn and starts? Some basic instructions, please

Are you claiming the Joffrey would not have the murderers bought to justice? We all know that you will never make a good king, There is a reason after all that your brother placed you on Dragonstone while giving the Stormlands to Renly.

I would like to know this as well, all I know is that everyone has 24 hours to finish their turn.
@martin: I believe it is to make sure nobody can do anything in someone else turn

OK Folks, here's all the info you should need.

GAMEPLAY:

I have started the hotseat, and am currently in deliberation. I will post the save file shortly. Players will take their turns in the following order:

1) Lannister
2) Tyrell
3) Stark
4) Arryn
5) Greyjoy
6) Baratheon of Storms End (Renly)
7) Baratheon of Kings Landing (Joffrey)
8) Tully
9) Baratheon of Dragonstone (Stannis)
10) Martell

When you take your first turn, you will be presented with a summary detailing that there are 10 human players, and that all battles MUST be auto resolved, and that the console is disabled. Diplomacy must be verified by the human player when his turn is reached. This screen will also ask you to enter and confirm a password; this password cannot be changed, and you must use it to unlock the game each time it is your turn, to prevent others from cheating. Please send me a copy of your password so that if I need to skip your go, or you vanish without telling us, I can unlock your House for someone else. Use a password that you do not use elsewhere.

When it becomes your go, adhere to the following steps:

1) Download the file and place it in [drive]:\pathtomedieval2totalwar\mods\Westeros\saves
2) Start Westeros: Total War
3) Load the save game
4a) (On turn 1) Enter and confirm your password
4b) (On all subsequent turns) Enter your password
5) Make all the moves you wish to make
6) End the Turn
7) Once the next players Password screen has appeared, press ESC and save the file, please use the name:

YAH_[house name]_[turn number]

Please replace [house name] with the name of your house, and [turn number] with the number of the turn you just finished.

8) Upload the save file from [drive]:\pathtomedieval2totalwar\mods\Westeros\saves
9) Post the link into this thread.

RULES:

We will be playing on the Difficulty level Hard
All assassinations are acceptable
You may display whatever results you desire, be they true or false
The 1 and 2 turn peace options have drawn, so I have flipped a coin, with the result that there will be a 1 turn peace at the beginning of the game, no hostile action may be taken until turn 2
You may not break the alliances your factions begin the game with until turn 11, all other diplomacy (Peace making, trading, etc) is unrestricted.

The process I followed to enable this hotseat to work was:

1) Install Vanilla Medieval 2: Total War
2) Install the Kingdoms expansion pack
3) Download and install the Alpha 0.53 of Westeros: Total War
4) Download and install the Enhanced submod for Westeros: Total War
5) Download these files and follow these instructions:

Ok the problem had a really easy solution. THE MOD CREATORS FORGOT TO CREATE THE TEXTURES FOR HOTSEAT!
so all you have to do is:
1) download and extract the file: http://www.mediafire.com/?nbspi7ooosj3a7g
2) put all the contents of the textures folder in: westros>data>menu
3)put the westros.cfg file in the main westros folder
4)enjoy the hotseat!

6) Download these files and follow these instructions:

meanwhile, replace your westeros/data/menu folder with this menu.rar, it should enable your HS.

Martin, your Westeros folder looks nothing like how it should. If I were you, I would simply delete it and start at step 3 in my above guide.

I thought that the peace was only between Tully/Lannister. Everybody else should be able to attack.

Kinda late going about the whole voting thing again now, it's only for a turn anyway.

Yup. The Kingdoms Launcher still will not find the mod. What if someone sent me their Sega folder? perhaps that will fix nthe problem, even if it does not at least we would know that it is not the mod that isn't working.
