How to locate the files for Medival II: Total War after it's been installed on steam

Hi all, i have an issue, ive recently purchased the game on steam and when i try to load the game i takes me to the launcher that doesnt seem to work. i just get a blank screan, i need to locate the files for the game so i can remove the lancher and play the game straight away, can anyone help me to find out where the files for the game are located?

Strictly speaking the game files should be in (Whatever drive and folder you installed to, usually Program Files)\Steam\steamapps\common and there will be a M2TW folder.

However, I was under the impression that if you purchased through Steam you need to first run Steam and then launch the game through it.

I have the steam version, and my file path is:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\medieval ii total war

However, you need to actually go to steam, click play and then use the launcher (yes, I know it sucks). If you have an issue, you may want to ask in the tech help forums.

They will be hidden in %appdata%.

Unhide all files and folders in Folder Options, and use the search function in Computer.
