    Can the gunpowder discovered event be added to the descr_rebel_factions.txt file?

    damn! that's a shame; i was hoping to make pike units not available until 1300ad, i may just delete the rebel pike units from the descr_rebel_factions.txt, as factions cant recruit pike units until the gunpowder event......

    A shame really, I was interested to do the same as well. Quite weird to see gunners in 1245??

    Only solution: Don't put gunpowder units in this file like it's in vanilla. You can spawn them randomly via CS anyways if it's substantial to the authenticity of your mod.

    They can't be tied to a start/stop date like in descr_mercenaries?
