Battles Cause CTD Please Help! Steam User
Hello I have a problem, whenever loading any type of battle, the game crashes to desktop. It started with Real time battles in the campaign crashing but after some experimenting any battle such as quick and custom crash as well. I also want to mention I also use steam.
So far this is what I have tried to do
1. Uninstall M2TW and SS
2. Reinstall M2TW and SS 6.3 in order, I put SS in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\medieval ii total war\SS6.3
3.Installed SS 6.4 into the SS 6.3 folder.
4. Inside Steam I went into Games>Add non Steam games and added the SS_Launcher.
The mod can successfully load to the menu and run the campaign but anytime a battle tries to load it causes a CTD. Someone please help! I am really anxious to play SS because I'm using a new top of the line computer I just worked for and I am very excited to try it out on M2TW and SS. SS is a great mod and I really want to try it out, please help!
Nevermind, for some reason the problem has resolved itself!
