    Default I can't play.

Why i can't play Medieval 2 : Total War (Main) since i installed "Kingdoms"? It gives me a "black screen" and "loading mouse" of total war.

I know that this thread should be in Technical section but i think it is much better if i will post it here in Medieval II: Total War section.

Did you try a complete uninstall, then install it all again?

You have to run the regular medieval.exe, if you run the kingdoms (by just a double click) then the game will crash.

If you want to play the grand campaign with kingdoms features then you should get retrofit mod.

    Nosjack already said it.

More info on what you are trying to accomplish with each .exe would help.

What version of the game? Where did you get it from?

@Nosjack - I always trying to run medieval.exe but it always gives me the same problem.

@irishron - Game Version : 1.3. I've got the Medieval II : Total War from my friend and i downloaded the "Kingdoms" expansion from the torrent site.

There is the problem. The torrent is messing up Medieval2 install. Buy the Gold edition on Steam and your biggest problem will be Steam itself.

Since torrents in this case amounts to piracy and considered illegal by the Terms of Service of this site and the End User license Agreement you agreed to to install Medieval2, I an obligated to close this.
