1) How do you delete map.rwm without the launcher since I cannot get the launcher itself to work and therefore are stuck using ALEX.bat?

2) Is the launcher issue going to be resolved? I havent seen any discussion on this lately.

I'm sure paedric will be working to sort that.....although it sounds like the issue is with the version in your anthologies game?

You can go to /data/world/maps/imperial_campaign in whichever mod folder you're playing..e.g. Play_Rome and delete the map.rwm file directly there

I patched RTW itself up to 1.5 and actually got the launcher to launch but was greeted by this error. So the launcher actually activates now but I still cant use it due to this error.

EDIT: Also how could this be a problem with the version on anthologies? This problem didnt exist for me in 2.1a and only started happening in 2.2 beta.

As for the deleting the maps thing thanks. I need to restart my campaign anyways.

If the launcher starts, you can delete the map.rwm files from it, even if you can't start the game from it.

As for fixing the launcher itself, try:
-to downgrade svn to 1.6
-to restore a version predating september, using svn if the first thing does not work.

Exactly how do you downgrade to 1.6? I cannot seem to find the 1.6 version for 64 bit. Anyone got a link?
