Although the family is basically nameless among the senatorial class, gens Calida has recently become at least somewhat involved in politics. After his cousin served as tribune several years ago, Nerva was invited to enter politics. He is a fiery, impassioned young man who has strong moral values, but lacks much experience in politics, and as such, is prone to sometimes self destructive tendencies.
