    If I understand correctly, you want more armor and weapon upgrade for a unit?

    For weapon, you can have only 1 level of weapon upgrade, it's hardcoded.

    For armor on the other hand, you can add more level

    Now this unit will have up to three level of armor upgrade in custom battles (as well on campaign). The value range between 0 to 6. It's the same value as the one in the blacksmith building.

    If that is correct, I understand it more. I always wondered why you couldn't give as many upgrades as you desired in the custom battles. Now it seems to make sense as the battle models must be limited unless someone has gone through and assigned six types of armour for each unit.
    Correct, the Custom battles doesn't take into account the level of blacksmith required, if you have 4 values (one as the base model), then in the custom battle, that unit will have up to three armor upgrade
