I'm running Vista, UAC is turned off and was turned off during install

MW2 Kingdoms version 1.2

Stainless Steel v. 6.3 (Also tried v 6.4 resulting in same issue)

No submods

I've tried most of the fixes I've found here on the forums with no luck.

I've tried playing as the Norweigans, Lithuanians, Kievan rus and Novgorod, and every time I try to assault my first settlement, it gets to the loading screen for the battle then I get a CTD. Any advice?
