    Default Region Titles

Right on my Stark campaign i have control of everything north of the Twins and most of the vale under the rule of King Robb the scarred. several of my generals have the ancillaries that come with being in a region for several turns, i.e. Lord of the Twins and Lord of Last Hearth. when the generals die will I lose the ancillaries or do i just move a new general into the settlement to get the ancillary back?

I think so. If that doesn't work, leave the general you want in the same region the past lord died for a turn or two.

okay does that also work with the ancillaries like littlefinger? if i wipe out the king on the iron throne and stay in king's landing for a couple of turns will i get the king's council?

No, that is unique to Joffrey I'm afraid.

Since this is on the topic of region titles, will there be a way to pass on the title of a faction's captial (such as Lord of Winterfell) on to the conquering faction? Maybe taking the capital of a faction will cause an event to pop up that says something along the lines of "The X House as lost their seat of X, and much of their power with it!" And then the general who captured it will gain the "Lord of X" ancillary.
Also if possible, the faction who lost it will lose "Lord of X" and gain a "Lord who lost X" which lowers their stats (especially morale)

And then be able to have the option to choose who will be Lord of 'X'. Like when Joffrey (or Cersei) gave Petyr Baelish the title of 'Lord of Harrenhall'...

pretty sure that you can shuffle titles like regular ancillaries. which allows you to attain disloyal generals

It is possible. I have it on my to-do list. But it wont be available to the faction leader, nor the faction heir. Or, in other words, it will, but it works like this:

You have Stannis Baratheon, King on Dragonstone
lets say he conquers Winterfell, his name changes to Stannis, Lord of Winterfell
but should Davos conquer it, he will be Davos, Lord of Winterfell

Basically, it overrides the current title. So, in case I will not figure a workaround it, I suggest you capture it with a general.

(This is all pertaining to the 1.0, although I may consider doing it for the alpha.)

EDIT: Actually, I realized you are talking about ancillaries, not titles. So thats not really what I do.

Actually I hadn't thought about titles at all, I really don't know if people would really care to have titles to be added as well. I personally think it would work only if that faction was King of something. (King of North, Iron islands, Reach or all of Westeros) But again, I'm up for whatever the decision is!
And again while I am thinking of it do you know if the team plans/would consider on adding an event pop up when a general/family member gets a lordship? It isn't really important but I think a little pomp and circumstance go far =) (Obviously, the other stuff is more important, but just as an after thought maybe?)

Also, is there a way to award someone a title for a starting province? I've tried to make Brandon or Ser Rodrik Lord of White Harbor, but to no avail.

No, not unless you change the files to make them start with it.

Yeah, but I think that Lord of White harbor will definitely be one of those settlements that gets a ancillary. I believe Manderly is in the game, but I'm not sure...

sorry to bump the thread but as Robb has eight ancillaries, if i move one off him will he get the crown of the north?

I think so, but I have never personally had this problem. Try it! =)

Oh a side note, can the Lord of X region ancillary be made so a general can only have one at a time or is this impossible?

I wish we had the system from Medieval 1, where you had total control over who got which titles.
Commanding House Stark of Winterfell in This Is A Hotseat and in The requested hotseat
Commanding House Lannister of Casterly Rock in Yet again another hotseat
Commanding House Tully of Riverrun in New Enhanced Hotseat
Commanding House Tyrell of Highgarden in This Is Most Definitely A Hotseat
Commanding House Greyjoy of Pyke in War Of The Throne
Commanding House Arryn of the Eyrie in Westeros At War

ok, I'm not sure if it was already said in another topic but it concernes the "title" subject...
I'm Arryn, took Kingslanding and destroyed all Jofrey's generals and family. Wtf I'm not King in the Iron Throne??? =(
