The Commudus Villa is situated on the outskirts of the city of Capua; it is surrounded by hectares of farmland which is owned by the family and will soon be flourishing with crops and slaves at work. The building is overlooking a slightly steep descent and looms over the neighboring villages and is about an hours journey from the center of Capua. The family is usually seen busy with a numerous amount of matters and visitors are a regular occurrence, however they try their utmost to see every guest.

Biography

Tiberius Antonius Commodus Age: 33 Born in: Capua Class: Patrician Tiberius is the eldest son of a family well-known for it's distaste of the plebians, his up-bringing being one filled with prejudice and hatred towards the 'common' folk in which his father [Random Name] had taught him. The Commodus were known for their rather dodgy dealings and were major players in the local slave markets in Capua, amassing quite a reasonable amount of wealth over the years. Tiberius was only shown the way of life which those with coin could possess, not being allowed to socialize much with the 'common folk' unless it benefited his father. After many years of hard work and toil to enhance his standing in the Roman republic, Tiberius has managed to achieve what his father couldn't and has became a senator of Rome. Armed with his passion for pro-Patrician issues, he sets off to further his career in Italy.

Sextus rides down to Capua and asks to meet the Senator.

[Roxas]

One of the family servants rushed to meet the visiting senator, panting as she showed the senator into Tiberius's study who arrived in the room a few minutes later.

"I'm awfully sorry for the delay senator, what brings you to my humble villa?"

[The Stig]

"Well, I was hoping you would give me your vote in the coming elections, however, my opponent has decided to run for another position. Still, I would like to ask you about some things."

[Roxas]

Tiberius nodded,

"Very Well Senator, I shall try to answer any questions you have If I can..."

[The Stig]

"What do you think of Rome? Should anything be changed?"

[Roxas]

"Nothing needs changing, I believe we should improve what we have already devised. Perhaps focusing more on diplomacy with these foreign kingdoms would be one minor change, I believe though we must improve our infrastructure across the empire and make sure it is running efficiently and we are getting the most out of our overseas territories."

He smiled,

"What about yourself?"

[The Stig]

"The balance of power between the two classes must be maintained. Neither group should be able to harm the other. Cooperation is what makes Rome powerful."

[Roxas]

"I agree that it must be maintained, we must not allow the integrity of the Republic to be threatened by those who wish to seek power for themselves and undermine the Senates authority. Co-operation against these threats is what makes us powerful indeed."

[Sonke]

Publilus arrives to speak with Tiberius.

[Roxas]

He is greeted the same way as the senator before him and shown to the study where Tiberius sat, writing some sort of scripture.

[Lanthe]

Slave arrives with a scroll. He stops at the gates and gives the invitation to the household slave to bring it to their master

Esteemed senator, you and your family has been invited to dinner at the Villa of Quintilii. We hope that you would dress according to the traditions, but due the recent liberal movements we have set the dresscode to be free.

''Greetings, I am Publilus Sempremonius Lucullus. I have come to meet other Senators.''

[Roxas]

"I see, let us hope we can start a fruitful relationship from this meeting."

He lent forward slightly,

"Is there anything in particular you wish to discuss?"

[Sonke]

''You are the new Censor. I wish you good luck with this office. I hope as well that we could be friends and allies.''

[Roxas]

"Likewise I hope the elections go well for you;"

Tiberius shuffled,

"Tell me then first, what are your ideals for the Roman republic?"

[Sonke]

''I hope so as well. My Family has a long line of men who have been in Africa and I want to see as well the land my Ancestors saw. My ideals, there are many Censor. Mainly I would like to give the Roman citizens more rights and wealth.''

[Roxas]

"Surely this wealth would be better used for the who republic, better let it be spent so that if affects every citizens lives than given out to a small minority."

He pondered for a while,

"However if the citizens can maintain the morals expected of a citizen of Rome then I see no problem in giving additional rights to those who show their loyalty and worth to the republic."

[Sonke]

Publilus smiles

''Everything the people spends comes back to the Treasury.''

[Roxas]

Tiberius laughed, if only Rome was that fair. He went to a window, pointing a few of the lavish senatorial homes further down the street.

"I'm afraid not; it ends up in the vaults of villa's like those."
