Saves disappeared

I had a campaign on the expanded americas mod saved.

Today I installed SS, 6.3 and 6.4. They run quite slowly on my computer so I gave up playing the SS campaign. But when I opened expanded americas, I had no saves, and after checking the saves folder in the mod directory there weren't even any saves there, nor were they in the recycle bin.

My vanilla campaign is still there.

Where are my saved games?

A button appeared which read "Compatibility files" or something. I clicked it and they appeared. Still didn't work though - and like you said, when I checked their 'location' it was indeed in the virtual store.

So I uninstalled SS (it runs quite slowly for me in campaign mode anyway) and turned user account control back on. The latter seems to have fixed the problem.

If you had a campaign going before disabling the UAC, they do disappear. Glad it's fixed. enjoy playing.
