Anyone else reading any of the books from DC comics relaunch? If not really should check them out, so far its been a fantastic success. The changes to characters are really well done and unlike Marvel's ultimate line not done simply for the sake of change.

idk turning nick fury into samuel l jackson was the most significant change in all of comics IMO.

Hehe I love Samuel L but Im still an old Fury fan. Ultimate Fury is too slick, too suave while old Fury is more of a grunt and gruffy. Besides the Marvel movies are ruining Samuel L since he cant curse and a Jackson movie without him yelling mother..... doesnt seem right.

The DC changes dont make any drastic changes like that, nor pandering for pr/sales changes like making spiderman a black kid. Plus they made some nice changes like bringing the Wildstorm characters into the DC universe. I want to see a Superman vs Apollo fight and a Midnighter vs Batman throwdown.

I took the opportunity to start following DC again actually.

I'm a bit confused though as Superman has had a hard reboot; GL and Batman have had soft reboots, but somehow hardly know each other. Doesn't this kinda mess wit their common storylines?
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

Well Action Comics is set 5 years before the Superman/Batman book something DC wasnt clear about initially but yes Superman has undergone more changes then most, specifically with Daily Planet being gone, Lois and Clark not married etc. Supposedly down the line elements from previous stories will blend in. I do think though that Superman has undergone more changes due to the looming rights issue in 2013.
