Yesterday i read the thread re spyware and followed the suggested regime by installing the reccommended software.They all found loads of stuff and cleaned it all out.Now this is where it all went tits up.Having used "easy clean to clean up my registry" i then decided to install the Modding Legions Full Pack v 1.3 from the downloads section.I then tried to start the game and got no further than the wee RTW title screen!!!!Now i had a smoothly running lappy but a knackered RTW and BI!!!The Game has had the 1.6 patch applied and nothign else.Would this count as a previous Mod?As it says in the install info on the Modding Legions pack that if there are any mods then it needs to be manually installed?Or was it something that "easyclean" did cleaning the registry?Before uninstalling i did a System restore but it came up with an error message about the "3D sound not initiated".So i had to remove both RTW and BI and reinstall both.Iam miffed cos i was about to assault Rome with several huge armies and was well on the way to world domination!Now i got to start all over again!!!!Any ideas as to what caused my problems???
As i say it was RTW&BI 1.6 with no other mods/skins.

I would just uninstall and re-install the games. Sorry, thats all I can think of, unless you just try to reinstall it from the v1.3 patch.

I have already done that but am loth to reinstall "easyclean" but i would like to,hence the post.
