SVN 1.7 Please Read.

Upgrading to svn 1.7 might break the beta.

I've no conclusive proof, but in the mean time, please refrain from upgrading until we have a definitive answer.

If someone has upgraded to svn 1.7 and has no issue, please say so.
(Post too if you have a bug.)

Downgrade to 1.6.x it should solve the problem while I'm trying to see what can be done.

Just to be clear, because it'd would seem I wasn't, it is not the beta that has a problem, but the tool used to update the beta.

So if you have a small window asking you to upgrade to SVN 1.7, do not do that.

But do continue to update the beta just like usual.

Yeah I put off updating as I'm always wary of them. Too many programs have stuffed up due to rash updating in my experience.

I would need detailed account from those having this issue.

'im getting this error message from updating when i launch the RS2 launcher, after updating my SVN to 1.7 : Line 4209 (file "where the mod is installed"). error; array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.'

What is your computer/os?
When did it first happened?
What there anything special that you did/added to your computer just before? (Especially updating svn, but also new drivers...)
Have you tried to downgrade svn to 1.6.x?

OS: Windows 7
When: Yesterday after updating the game files
Any other action taken: Never updated SVN but when I first downloaded SVN it was already 1.7
Downgrading: No

haven't tried downgrading 1.6
updated it 2 days ago i think.

EDIT: I downloaded 1.6 and installed it but the version just stayed 1.7. Do I need to uninstall the entire thing? Wont that corrupt the RS2 beta files?

Also it seems like the program upgrades itself anyways. Is there a way to stop that from happening?

BREAKING NEWS!

I was finally able to downgrade to SVN 1.6, but I had to redownload all the files since they were originally downloaded with SVN 1.7 and the launcher now works. I dont get the "line error" message when using the launcher. I am also able to start a campaign and even play the battle against Hannibal which had been crashing before.

ok i have downgraded to svn 1.6 and i am going to do a clean install and checkout will let you know if this solves the launcher issues i am having

edit: well i feel stupid its working now
