Cannot start the game

Hello
When I start the game I get the first picture saying Romes surrectum 2 but then the error 'ping' sounds and these errors come up:

Error:data/models_engine/middle_tow_info.CAS

Error:data/models_engine/town_ladder_tunnel.CAS

I am trying to run the game through steam but am using the launcher to do so. I have tried running it on both RTW and BI engines and neither work. I have also patch the orignal game with 2.1a to try and solve it but nothing has worked.

I have a Sony Vaio running windows 7 with a AMD Phenom 2 P840 triple-core processor 1.90 GHZ and 6 Gigabytes of RAM. the graphics card is a Mobility Radeon HD 5145.

Have now removed the RS2 files but can't even play RTW now as some of the unit models are missing from there too :/
