Maybe a larger problem because I uninstalled this mod and went to imperial splendor and basically having the same problem

Well its not your anti-virus, and the UAC setting is the only other thing I can think of. I presume you are on vista or W7?

If you're having the same issue with Imperial Splendour, then you might have an installation problem.
If you unnistalled Imperium Globale II, make sure all files related to this mod are deleted as they might conflict with Imperial Splendour. If this fails, try unnistalling both mods and then install one of them to see if it does the trick. Erase all script files. Do you know where these are located?

When you install your mods, make sure they're installed in the correct directory.

If everything else fails, try adjusting your graphic settings. Sometimes, high graphic settings may cause crashes.

I doubt that your anti-virus is behind your crash.

Graphics problems cause crashes during a battle or on the campaign map, not upon loading.

Anti-virus has already been discounted.

I wouldn't say that. I once had CTD's whilst in the loading screen because my graphical settings were too high. The game may be unable to load the battle/campaign due to GPU low speed.
Anyway, he should try reinstalling the mods. Can he play the vanilla without issues? If he can, then I'm fairly positive that the problem is in the installation.

Well I've never run into that (and my computer is hardly that good), so obviously its different between computers etc.

It is the language pack and contains the unit names etc. IIRC some were missing in the original release, however I cannot of the top of my head remember if the latest version of the mod download incorporated the fix or whether the additional download is still required.

Uninstall it, verify the game via steam, and reinstall the mod with full admin privileges from the admin account on your computer.

It didn't work, I have uninstall IG2, ETW, then reinstall ETW and IG2, I'm the only account of my computer...

But I don't understand. I play a long marathe campaign, then install the mod whitch didn't work at all, and then my vanilla version doesn't work either...

Don't reinstall it. Verify the game via steam onlyand then try to run vanilla again.

Hi, I bougth ETW I install it and after that I install IG2 and I played a campaign. Everythings fine, but when I restart the game and started a new campaign the game crashed. I uninstalled IG2 and Installed again and the game crashed again. I reinstall ETW and IG2 and the game crashed again. Now I reinstalled the ETW without IG2 and the game crashed again. What I do?? Please Help.

Verify the game via steam, making sure no mod files are present.
