"Yes i am" Gnaeus spoke, slightly annoyed that, that was always what they picked up on first, "however my duty to the republic, is just as great as any others, as is my my willingness to complete that duty."

"And i am Gnaeus Claudius Tranquillus, it is nice to meet you Publilus, please sit." He gestured to one of the seats within his study, "Now Publilus, what can i do for you?" he asked

"Hmm." Gnaeus thought, "Well i do believe i have a few from that area," He called to one of his slave, "Can you please bring up some of the Herculaneum wine." He turned to the Senator, "I acquired this last year."

Aquila thanks Gnaeus for the wine, takes a sip, and nods appreciatively.
"Yes. This is definitely Herculanean. I have some from grapes they say were grown in Gaul. Gaul! Of all the places to get wine from, and they got it from barbarians!" Aquila laughed. "Supposedly it is actually very good. I have not actually tasted any yet, but if you would like, you may come to my villa and try some."
