    I can find a lot of admirals for you if you want (mostly Dutch, but also British, French and Spanish). I also have a book (encyclopedia, sort of) with dutch pirate names and I have a book that writes about several pirates who were active in the Caribbean area.

    Most european nations use 17 century units now
    Sweden and The Netherlands have the most custom units.

    Empire has pikemen units but these are custom made yes

    This looks like the period i thought CA missed out on! a few questions...

    1. What factions are playable, and do you intend to create appropriate units for them all?

    2. Are you including the 30/40 unit mod to have proper battles??

    All vanilla factions and Scotland are playable for now.

    No, but we do have 400 men in one unit which in a full stack is around 6500 men
