    Yes i recommend you uninstall is we never tested if it would work
    In the futher we like to test the compatibility with other mods.

    I've uninstalled Darth Mod. And tried to get rid of any other mods lying around in there. But its hard to root everything out. I still can't get V1650 past the initial campaign loading screen before it CTDs. I've attached a crash log if that helps anyone. I won't pretend i know what i'm doing too much when it comes to these things. I tend to just follow the install instructions and hope for the best.

    Let me know if you think there's any way of getting this to work without having to do a clean re-install of vanilla ETW. Its a right pain to do.

    Yeah thanks. Realised i'd not attached it, even though i'd clicked to do so. Obviously you're getting a glimpse of my IT skills.

    I have verified the game cache. Twice. Makes no diff. It verifies games files, but doesn't get rid of files that shouldn't be there. I.E. additional mod files. So i need to go and delete them. But i dont wanna delete wrong ones. Arrghh!!! Computers!! Damn them!

    Delete the files you think are not vanilla.
    When you're done steam verify and run the V installer

    Right then.

    Deleted all i could. Verifed game cache. again.

    Loaded Vanilla ETW from loading screen to the startegy map and it worked fine. So that must mean all is clean and ok. So re-installed VOC 1650. But still same problem. Still crashes when i'm on campaign loading screen.

    I'll give up for now i think. I'll come back to this mod when i've more time to spend. Thanks for all your help tho General. Im looking forward to playing this at some point.

    Adrian74 as vengur said made most models the red guard lancer and there officer are made by Bethencourt.
    The ship textures also are made by Bethencourt.

    Some years ago a little mini-mod could be found here on Total War Center that made pikemen keeping
    to their pikes in melee against other infantry. Perhaps you could incorporate something like that into your Mod.

    I found the pikemen fix after a thorough search here on TWC.
    A clever chap who goes by the name of Primergy made it.
    I´m almost certain if you contact him he will allow you to use his

    I´m very thankful for your more than gracios invitation General Brewster.
    However I´d rather prefer to support your Mod in an less official and more informal way.
    If for example you would like to obtain historic information I will gladly research
    material and provide it to you as fast as possible. Your mod is quite excellent
    and I will try to assit frequently with small contributions and considerations.
    If in the long run you consider my help to be of substantial nature feel free to
    mention good old Taraphir´s support to your project.

    To tell you a little secret I take first steps into modding myself. At present I´m
    retexturing vanilla units of the United Provinces and Austria. I believe that at least the infantry roster
    of the United Provinces will be finished in about two months. When they are accomplished you can use them for your mod if you like. Hope you take no offence because this is your thread
    but I included some early Screenshots for you. Please take in mind its work in progress:
