Default Possible to use some of your (superb) units for a mod?

    Hello,
I would ask if I can use some of your great units for VTW.
I think mainly some of your (late) western nobles/knights could be not better made.
Besides your trees and terrain is absolutely great, even if I have probs sometimes with my low-end PC.

Just thought i'd let you know, the trees and terrain (im guessing you are referring to the battle map?) are RS2 environments and credit goes to them. But I do agree with you that the units in this mod are great, and the RS2 enviros are awesome Good luck with the mod! Im working on something similar for Med2

I'm fairly certain he's posted in the wrong forum, because he's mentioning "western nobles/knights". Probably talking about some medieval mod.

I was wondering the same thing... Could be he means the barb heavy cav, but still his mod occurs alot later on a time scale compared to this mod. I mean Vikings are what? Like 600 to about 900 AD or so?

    Hi.
No Friends, I think I'm posting in the right forum: SAI.
And the units I mean are the heavy Goths, Franks, late Germanic-styled, armoured troops of this mod, as well as the rabble-styled ones (they have not changed a long timeframe.).
In my oppinion they would fit the western troops of the viking times around 840 too (maybe with some minor skin changes), medieval units wont (because kite shields and later helmets, not used in viking times).

Where the word 'knight' comes from:
The word knight, from Old English cniht ("boy" or "servant"),[2] is a cognate of the German word Knecht ("servant, bondsman").[3] This meaning, of unknown origin, is common among West Germanic languages (cf: Old Frisian kniucht, Dutch knecht, Danish knægt, Swedish knekt, Middle High German kneht, all meaning "boy, youth, lad", as well as German Knecht "servant, bondsman, vassal").[2]
BLIP99, nice to read from your mod in Med2.

Can you please PM me the units you would like to use so that I can check on whose textures etc have been used by permission.

    Thanks
