    Default Carthage 1 Turn, Cartledge

    Ill start with restating my game settings; currently on year 560.
    Carthage, RTW-BI.exe, Hard/Hard, 1 Turn, Huge armies, medium to high res.

    Event Log;
    554
    - Earthquake hit North Africa and buried Theodekles and his army as they were returning from successful campaigning against the Greek City States. No doubt the divine vengeance of their mad gods. The survivors were literally reduced to a handful of men (1-2 per unit) and they limped their way back to Carthage.

    - Hannibal returned to Carthage and mounted an invasion of the Kingdom of Numidia. After a series of succesful night attacks on the Numidian armies, (the last being an open battle against a score of elephants) Hannibal was at Cirta's gates.

    - The Iberian gods also showed their displeasure at Carthaginian hubris and smote Azrubal along with his army in a divine earthquake. They must have taken some pointers from the Greek gods! When the news reached Hazdrubal, he was proclaimed the new faction leader.

    TURN 50 GENERAL REPORT
    The Empire is cruising comfortably, despite the natural disaster based setbacks. The borders feel secure without too much feelings of omnipotence.
    Economy-wise Carthage is bringing in about 30 - 35K a turn, with roughly 5 - 10K usually available after budgeting (sometimes 20K+)

    Great stuff.

    As elsewhere the real issue is that there isn't enough money about.
