Trouble with descr_strat editing
Here is my problem
My computer runs on vista home premium, I have been trying to edit the file descr_strat in the imperial campaign folder but when I tried to save what I had changed it said cannot create the C:/program files/the creative assembly/rome total war/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt file. make sure
path and file name are correct. So I copied the file on to my desktop and edited it there I then tried to copy it back into the imperial campaign folder but a pop-up said that there is a file in the same location with the same name and it presented two options the first was to copy and replace the original file or to put both files in the folder and leave nothing changed. I clicked the first option but then another pop-up appeared saying I would need administrator to copy this folder (imperial campaign) I clicked continue but the same message appeared time after time (the continue button had a small shield on it). After several tries I attempted to delete the original descr_strat I gave up when it came up with a pop-up saying you need to confirm this operation I clicked continue but it wouldn't go any further. Could someone please help me I really want to edit the descr_strat for my copy of rome total war
.

Well, you actually says your self what the problem is. You need to be the administrator of the computer. If it is your own, simply make you the admin. If it is not your own, better take a talk to other users first.....

Re: Trouble with descr_strat editing
Then you need to disable VirtualStore. In the Link Irishron posted, there is a guide that sees you trough that. Under "How to fix it", 2). That is what you need to try.
Good luck.
