OKAY. Now that I've got your attention, firstly, thankyou for this great mod, it really enhances Medieval II, it feels like a whole new game.

Secondly, why do the Mongols start with so little cash? It makes them impossible to play without cheating!

Thirdly, the Turks are the best faction, but they have a horrible starting position. I have decided to attack Byzantium immediately and take over Antolia. So far I've got Trabzon, and I'm marching for the Ionian coast. Is this a good idea?

Please, let's not have fake links dude in hopes of someone will click them. Also The Fishman you don't have to have such a title for people to answer to your thread. A lot of SS players and registered forum members will be more than happy to answer your questions about the mod. No need for fake titles.

Now as to answer your questions...
1. You need to make use of your armies as fast as possible and conquer as many provinces with them. Or you can just start disbanding your armies and stabilize your economy though this isn't a usual tactic I've seen of Mongol players. Starting out with little cash is no big problem but starting with little cash and having stacks of armies at your disposal can really put you in debt.
2. Sure, sounds fine. Just make sure your back isn't towards enemy factions and that you have the ability to train an able army.
