Because it doesn`t work that way. You start the hotseat in single player, play your turn, save the game and then you email it to the next player.

How does one get the hotseat to work in single-player? Is there a script/mod/something that I've overlooked that lets multiple factions be chosen in singleplayer?

0.53 alpha with the Enchanced mod. Difficulty VH/VH. You don't have to e-mail everyone just the next person along but I want everyones e-mails and passwords just to make sure. I got your message Enferfeu. The plan Is to start the game on Monday, failing that whenever I have all E-mails/passwords in.
