So, started a game as Stannis, and I noticed that I seem to be spawning an inordinate amount of Shadows from Melisandre. First I kill Renly and and his heir (though his faction has the annoying tendency to adopt anyone with a sword and surname, so still working on them), then Joffrey and Tommen (destroying the faction, opening King's Landing, and getting myself a couple of nice crowns). Over the course of forty turns, I've assassinated about 3/4 as many faction leaders and heirs (seriously, either the newest faction leader and/or heir is assassinated, or killed/captured and executed by Stannis and his roaming army of crossbowmen). You'd think that people would stop wishing to be adopted by Renly with the amount of family deaths.
That said, my campaign is going splendidly. I've secured an alliance with the Martells, Allestor is heading to White Harbor to sort out this Stark king business, and the Lannisters came to me begging for a ceasefire (I assume the Tullys ACTUALLY lived through the first two turns and proceeded to rape the hell out of Tywin and his heirs)
So, in a question to the team, should they read this: Should we tone down the amount of 10-skill assassin shadows that Mel births in for the turn, or is this fine (please note that I rather enjoy killing everyone)
