I feel my main strength is more evident in the modding side of the Twc, i can often be found there exchanging knowlage with members both established and new in our attempts to improve upon the game we all love, and which brought us all together in this global community, i hope i have gained a certain respect with my helpfull nature and sharing of my own skills and knowlage, and fully intend to continue in this vain.

Which brings me to why i came here and why i've stayed. The former is simple, the search for mods, i was a devotee of Rtw long before it's release and emersed myself in it's magic for a long time after, on discovering the Twc and the mods within i became if possible even more engrossed. The latter is a little harder to explain,for the first few months as a member i was almost oblivious to the extended world of the Twc outside of the mod workshop, but one day for better or worse i found myself disscussing a very serious subject with an ethereal soul on the other side of the world, and from then on i think that the invisable force commonly known as Twcrack had me in it's grasp, since then i have made many new friends amongst the membership, and hope to make many more for as long as the Twc is continued.

Let me say that I am aware that at first sight Halie is borderline civitates material. At first sight. I took the pain going through all his posts and with the exception of the ones in the USvs.UK thread, I noticed the following:

a. He is not aggressive. He is outspoken but this is never directed to a poster.
b. He cannot spell for dear life, and he abuses smilies. Please take a moment to go beyond that and his posts are actually intelligent.
c. He is neither aloof or dramatic or exhibitionist (unlike his prospective patron)
d. He comes from the TW side where many people complain that we constantly overlook the modding community
e. He shows a good potential in moding and technical help in TW
f. He appears mostly mature. The only reprehensible post I could find, except in the USvsUK where everyone was reprehensible is the following:

sorry guys but honour and integrity don't always shine through, i was berated and insulted by some miscreant cretinous fraggle,who then ignored my pm that offered to sort our problem in private, now call me old fashioned but i grew up in a culture where you don't grass, so after about five minuets when my blood had reached it's normal tempreture i reminded myself that this high ranking muppet was an intolerant turnip who would most likley have me ostracized or banned from the forums, and so casturation in public was'nt worth the penalty.

then again i have always found the staff to be a fairly conscientious bunch and would point out to turbo that you got pwned.

Please notice two points. First he tried to solve the issue by PM in order not to go in a flame war, and second he had the sense to cool down. Of course the post is still reprehensible, but this is as bad as it gets.

Let me also tell you that I alredy shared with Halie my doubts that he will pass the first vote. Not everyone is imb39 anyway...

I trust that you will make the right decision either way. In the case that you lean on accepting his candidacy, I suspect that with tight reins for a while, added to the "respect" he feels about my 497 rep points (lol, scrap this) he will be an examplary member.
