A meeting of Islamic Nations

A meeting is called for any and all Islamic Nations, to discuss the infidels of the Crusader States and the Crusades themselves.

Sultan Izz al-Din Aybak, leader of the Mamluk Sultanate, sits at the head of the table, with Muhammad Saeed ibn Abd al-Aziz (Or simply: Muhammad) his top adviser, sitting next to him.

OOC: Strictly no other nations except Islamic ones

The Selquks of Rum, the Sabean Caliphate, the Saudi Kingdom, the Cyrene Caliphate, the Moorish Caliphate, and the Tripolitanian Imamoric (pulled the names out of my @$$, sorry) arrive.

Sheikh Khalifa Bin Akhmed, Sheikh of the Emirati States, and his head of foreign affairs, Prince Raul Bin Akhmed, arrive at the meeting, sitting next to the Mamluks.

The Sultan nods at each person who arrives. He now starts to speak.

Welcome friends, I, as you may know, am Sultan Izz al-Din Aybak, leader of the mighty Mamluks. I invited all you to this meeting, to discuss the vile Crusader States and the Crusades. We have reason to believe, that they will be leading a Crusade into our lands from the Crusader States. I would ask that I have all your support in defending my lands and pushing them back. Any and all troops will be appreciated. My final plan is to push the Crusader States out of the holy land once and for all but that can only happen when the Crusade is defeated. Say what you want now.

The man takes off his hood and presents himself.

"I am Muhammed Bajada, diplomat of the Tunisian-Maltese Trading Empire. We have large populations of both Christians and Muslims, so my leige sent me to decide who we should back. I ask you to tell us how your war is going."

Muhammed waits for an answer before continuing

Abdul-al-Shaubarr looks at the man angrily. "Look, I've talked to the other Caliphs, and they don't like your current leadership. Why should we listen to you?"

Ali-al-Rifini son inlaw of the Sultan of Morocco arrives

He speaks "I have been sent by the powerful Sultan of Morocco to represent the Moroccan nation at this most noble assembly. With this said I request that the Muslim, Berber state of Morocco be given membership of this most estemed congress."

He sits down to await a reply

The sultan gives him a puzzled look

I never said I was the leader of anything, I organised this meeting to discuss the crusades, and how the islamic nations will oppose them.

If the majority of nations here agree, then we will form a Congress. I, myself, abstain from the vote as I do not favor making a Congress nor disagree with it.

Morocco votes to form a congress and Sultan Aybak as it's head

All the assembled nations except Libya vote for a Congress, and most of them vote for Abdul as head.

Muhammed sighs, seeing he is unwanted here. He decides to return home to Tunisia, and report to the king that he should stay neutral in this conflict, unless openly attacked by one side or the other
