Have a fairly large international following, for whatever reason. Probably Norway's best live band.

Sadly, Jokke passed away far too early. A great artist. Sadly he liked his drugs and alcohol a bit too much. His song "Alt kan repareres" was sadly a bit too optimistic, it's about his life being full of alcohol and drugs but "everything can be repaired" Apparently not so. I highly reccomend his album "Frelst!".

Social revolution, kicking nazi ass, all part of the glorious 80s. They're still alive and kicking.





I'll be back with some more awesome Norwegian music! To top it all off, I bring you my local hero! (Don't really like his music personally, and foreigners will probably think its crap. Some find his texts to be very powerful)

Well I'm not from Buffalo but pretty much all of Western NY has at least a small spot in their heart for the Goo Goo Dolls

There are a few amazing artists from Ireland; Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, The Dubliners, Horslips, the Cranberries, Moving Hearts, Wolfe Tones, Van Morrison, Boomtown Rats... I'm leaving out a good few, I think.

InifDoyle mentioned all the oldies except U2! People might hate on them, but they are still good, they were amazing at one stage back in the 80's.

Also, Dublin band My Bloody Valentine made the album " Loveless "

widely regarded as one of the most beautiful albums ever made!
